Driven by his ambition to play professionally in Europe, Okechukwu previously spent a year in Europe on trial, gaining invaluable experience and adapting to the demands of the European game. Upon his return to Nigeria, he signed for Abia Comets FC, where his impressive performances further demonstrated his readiness for the next step in his career.
That opportunity has now materialized with his move to Club de Fútbol Alcalà, a historic club based in Alcalà de Xivert, Castellón, Spain. Founded in 1974, the club competes in the Primera FFCV Group 1, part of the Valencian Regional League, and has earned a reputation for providing a competitive environment for the development of young players.
